This Level 1 Special Olympics Judo Referee Development Course is designed to inform and educate referees in Disability Awareness, Modified Safety Rules and Coach and Referee Cooperation. It also contains modules on SO Judo History, Classification Levels and Code of Conduct.
The course is in two halves, the first is about disability awareness and informational modules to help the learner understand the basics of each disability. It contains a quick questionnaire to get you started and disability awareness test to complete the first section.
The second part is judo specific and covers modules on SOI modified safety rules, History SO Judo, and Referee – Coach cooperation Best Practice, SO Coach & Referee Code of Conduct, Classification Levels and Short Levels Video Quiz.
